Juniata College, a nationally ranked liberal arts institution, is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Senior Accountant to join our Finance team. The Senior Accountant provides essential accounting support, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and maintaining the general ledger, as well as other general accounting duties as assigned. This position plays a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with college policies.

· Perform monthly account reconciliations and other general accounting functions.

· Prepare journal entries and assist with general ledger maintenance.

· Review accounts payable payment runs for accuracy and compliance.

· Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.

· Complete additional accounting duties as assigned.
